Owner's Description

"No Mercy in Vietnam!" DC's first foray into the Vietnam War with Capt. Phil Hunter. I have to admit I love this cover - look at the color fade of the background sky from indigo to pink - is it sunrise or sunset? Check out the tension in the bodies, the strength in their arms, determination on thier faces..., that with the combination of the camoflage uniform, the foreground grasses, the swamp/river water create an incredible composition. Kubert really outdid himself on this cover - every inch is a beautiful thing.

It's a shame the editor couldn't find someplace else to but the cover blurb - it really upsets the balance of the composition.
