Owner's Description

It is safe to say that I look for Planet comics in person, on-line stores, eBay, auctions, etc. on a very consistent basis. Some books have features that cause me notice if the same exact book comes up for sale multiple times over several years. This is one such book. I first noticed it when a CGC board member showed it to me as CGC 9.0 in old style cgc holder. At that time it wasn't for sale, but he sold it (when I had no funds) and I did not see it for a couple years and it sold in a comiclink auction (It was now in a 9.0 new cgc holder with grade on far left) and I was the under bidder. Then in a strange turn of events, it came up for auction in the new newest cgc holder as an 8.5. Weird, but good for me because I won it at auction this time. My second picture shows the full stories for Mars, god of war and Space Rangers. I understand it can't be read due to size, but can see the style of story layout style in the middle of the Planet run. This issue also features stories drawn by Lily Renee and one of my new favorites Fran Hopper. As an added bonus Joe Dooin has work in here too. All in all, a great book front to back. Happy to own this copy that I have seen from afar for years. Missed it on he first and second tries, but now am glad to own.
