It was very difficult to track down a 9.8 candidate of this particular book! Maybe it was the black cover – but almost every raw copy I found exhibited some defects along the spine. When I finally found a copy that returned as a 9.8 with off-white / white pages, I figured this will happily suffice. I normally strive for white pages though.

This issue included a lightsaber battle between Baron Orman Tagge with Luke Skywalker. At this point of the Marvel Series, lightsaber blade colors were inconsistent to say the least. For instance, many issues depicted Luke having a red bladed lightsaber. This issue depicts Luke having a red blade on the cover – but not within the interior.
