Star Wars 97: Escape.

Writer: Mary Jo Duffy, Penciller: Cynthia Martin, Inker: Art Nichols, Cover Artist: Cynthia Martin and Art Nichols.

This issue included an Imperial remnant in an alliance with the Nagai from the Unknown Regions.

To date, I have not been successful at acquiring a signature series version of this book. Back in 2013, I had the chance to get several books signed by artist Cynthia Martin. Unfortunately, I did not have a 9.8 candidate book available at the time.

At this point, I have a spare 9.8 candidate copy of this book to send as a signature series submission for day an opportunity arises. Unfortunately, I have not seen either writer Mary Jo Duffy or artist Cynthia Martin attend a convention in a very long time.

Because this issue prominently depicts a stormtrooper on the cover, another option would include having this book signed by an actor who portrayed a stormtrooper during the original trilogy.
