Preview from issue #15: Remember two years ago when the mighty Avengers went to the happy Halloween Parade in Rutland, Vermont (Avengers #83)? And last year, when the dynamic Defenders made the scene (Marvel Feature #2)? Well, guess whos the star of the show this time around! (Thats a pretty good guess true believer!)
Preview from the Bullpen: ITEM! And, as long as its that time of year again, this year macabre Marvel is tossing not one but two spell-binding Halloween specials at you! Dont dare miss the titanic two-parter which is interwoven between the smouldering pages of the current issues of THE MIGHTY THOR and AMAZING ADVENTURES (where the block-bustin Beast holds forth)! Remember - the dread Dormammu is watching you!

Quotes:
'Do you hear me Earth? The Juggernaut is BACK!!' -- Juggernaut
Rutland, Vermont Halloween issue, Part 1 of 3.

'I was pals with Gerry Conway, who wrote THOR (#207), and Len Wein, who wrote JUSTICE LEAGUE (#103), and somehow we decided to plot a story that ran through all three books - even though JLA wasnt from Marvel, and even though their books were much bigger than mine. Gerry, Len, Lens then-wife Glynis (Oliver-Wein), and I appear in all three plotlines, each of which stands on its own but also fits into one larger story. (They came out at the same time but Marvels cover dates were a month ahead of DCs.)' -- Steve Englehart
