seeing THIS COMIC [title] on The Stands,

and being REALLY excited.

I was SO glad to see this fresh Gilbert Shelton book, that I bought five, on the spot AT Comics & Comix, on Tele., right then!

(Therefore, these are newsstand copies.)

This is the first one of those five.

MANY copies of this [1st printing] were lost

in a Rip Off Press fire that hit them then.

(1985?).

This one has been in The Archives for 30 years,
