Owner's Description

Issue number 45 has one two-part story called "The Land Of The Plant People." In the first part, "The Deadly Maze," Turok and Andar observe a man who is fleeing from cave men walk safely through a thicket of huge thorns. The pursuers manage to mortally wound him by throwing their clubs at him. The two Indians try to help the injured man, but are later accused of his murder. They are sent into a maze full of deadly plants. The second part, "The Secret Of The Deadly Plants," begins with Turok pitting the animated plants against each other forcing open a breach in the maze. They still must contend with the plant people, and set the plant traps against the tribe by coercing them with fire. (psychosaurus.com)
