Owner's Description
This slot has been a work in progress! I had submitted a Superman 75 second, third, and fourth printing with a submission of 20 books. The submission overall was very good except for all three 75's did not do well at all. I was bummed!
I then got a 9.8 copy with off white to white pages for $100.00, which I felt was a really good price. The registry points were the same regardless of page quality but the page quality ended up bothering me more than the less than 9.8 books in this set. I think that was because the lower graded books I had at the time were mostly from my own submissions and original raw collection.
I then got my hands on a raw copy of this book with really good potential for 9.8 with white pages. My intent was to bide my time and submit the raw copy and see how it went, no rush.
This copy then popped up on eBay. Ugh, I had just spent a bunch of money on some other books and, even though my Wife supports my collecting, there is a limit to how far I can push it. In fact, the timing of buying another book was so bad that it was hard even for me to make it make sense. I was in luck though! My Birthday was in a week and I was able to play the Birthday Card to both soften up my Wifey, and to make myself feel like I actually deserved another book (SMH). Psychologists say that a Human Being can pretty much rationalize themselves into thinking pretty that much anything is okay, and I am openly admitting I am no exception to this rule... at least when it comes to trying to complete this set. So, here it is... at long last... Superman 75 third printing with white pages!
I ended up paying $145.00 for this book BIN.
