I won this on ComicLink auction style for $110.00. This was really good because at the time there were also two on eBay; one for $299.00 and the other for $395.00. I feel really fortunate to have gotten this for a good price. I had recently given up on ComicLink after having a couple bad experiences on the exchange. Twice I agreed to pay the <i>Buy It</i> price for a book and twice the seller never responded. Due to this experience I hadn't been checking it as often so I am glad I got tipped off that this was listed!

I got the third and fourth printings around the same time, but the fourth was the last to come in the mail. I created the image in the second picture slot when it arrived in order to illustrate the logo/text color changes on these books. In the case of the other later prints from this set it was just the front of the book that had color variations in the logo/text. In Superman 75's case they also changed the color of the text on the back of the books, which is pretty cool. My favorite is probably the green or blue. It is also worth noting that the first and second printings just reversed the colors from front to back; the first printing had yellow logo/text on front, with white text on back while the second has white logo/text on front, and yellow text on back. I wonder if this was because it was easy, or if they weren't expecting a third and fourth printing to follow? I guess we'll never know.

I really enjoy the way all four printings look lined up in the second image and was excited to create it for this set.
