Owner's Description

The Set: This was one of six Sienkiewicz signed books created on 3/23/14.

The Story: "Itto Ogami became an outcast because he dared to challenge the treacherous Yagyu's clan for the post of Kaishakunin- the shogun's officer of death. Now his adversary from that fateful duel, Gunbei Yagyu's, seeks the Lone Wolf's death."

Second Slot Book: This book was signed and sketched by The Master, Sergio Aragones, at San Diego ComicCon on 7/21/13.

The book is Destroyer Duck #1, Eclipse, 1982, the first appearance of Groo. The card stock was applied by me to create a wrap around cover for a NG yellow label.

The sketch shows Groo facing off against Itto on the left side of the work, while Rufferto and Daigoro playfully meet and touch noses on the right. I love this one of a kind sketch, a personal request by me of Aragones. I would gladly have paid for this sketch just on the strength of Daigoro and Rufferto alone. Note the light blue colored pencil background. I have never personally seen Aragones add color to a sketch!
