Jack Kirby returned to Marvel with Captain America #193 and Herb Trimpe ended his run on The Incredible Hulk with #193, so according to Erik it made sense, that Savage Dragon #193 should begin a bold new direction of the book: Malcolm Dragon officially took over the title with this issue and the book got a new logo.
