Owner's Description

Ebay purchase - June 2017. When I lost out on a 9.8 in the June 2017 CL auction, I went ahead and made the purchase on Ebay (for about $20 more, I can live with that). This copy is tied with four others for HIGHEST GRADED on the CGC Census. There are another 15 graded 9.6 (out of a total 35 books certified).

This is the third issue in the series to feature Earth-One hero Wildcat (as opposed to the Earth-Two version that was in the JSA). Post-crisis, this version of Ted Grant/Wildcat ceased to exist.

The cover was by Nick Cardy - the last non-Jim Aparo penned cover in the entire series! (well, other than on the upcoming 100 pagers that had parts of the covers reprinted from other previous issues).
