Owner's Description

Comic Connect auction win - September 2019. This is a harder issue to obtain in the highest of grades, with there being only two 9.8's and four 9.6's. I don't recall seeing a 9.6 or higher come to auction in the past 5-6 years. 9.4's (of which there are only 8 as of this writing) have come up here and there, but, you know, this is a tricky book.

The issue features Wonder Woman, who, at the time, had lost her powers. This had occurred because Diana chose to stay in the World of Man instead of going with her fellow Amazons to another dimension. Wonder Woman issues #178-203 occur during this time period. i collect that particular subset of the Wonder Woman series - those issues really do capture the feminism attitudes of the time. Diana does regain her powers starting with Wonder Woman #204.
