Owner's Description

The Hulk battles the Silver Surfer in Issue #93, which marks the first full Silver Surfer appearance outside the Fantastic Four. Our book comes from the Pacific Coast Collection and looks like a 9.8 to us, but unfortunately CGC did not agree.

This is a book that, unlike every other issue in this set, we have had multiple opportunities to upgrade as there are 11 9.8s in the census and they seem to change hands often. But despite the members, the book remains expensive and it’s hard to justify spending so much to upgrade a beautiful WP 9.6 bearing a Pacific Coast Pedigree, which is perfectly centered. We acquired the book in the May 10, 2018 Heritage auction.
