Owner's Description

I do not collect Batman, but I have bid on a couple of books where I liked the cover. Generally, I lose, but was able to pick this one up at what was my preset limit. I think it’s a cool a cover from 1957, with the bat signal against the night sky and the Caped Crusaders garbed in Middle Age armor. It’s also the single highest graded example in the census by a wide margin, with the next best only being a 9.0. We acquired the book in the 4/1/2021 Heritage Auction.
