Owner's Description

The Human Torch’s fourth appearance in Strange Tales features the first appearance of Paste-Pot Pete, Peter Petruski, who was a chemist who invented a super-adhesive, which he used to turn to a life of crime. Petruski would team with the Wizard in Strange Tales #110, which is famous for the first appearance of Doctor Strange. Petruski would later become the Trapster, who was a founding member of the Frightful Four, along with Sandman, Medusa and the Wizard. He was thus a major villain in the Marvel Universe.

Our 9.4 is tied for second highest graded trailing 4 9.6s. It is also is one of the first high grade comics I ever acquired and have been unable to track down where I purchased it. My best guess is on e-bay, but it predates all the available databases. I shoulda kept better records, I coulda been a contender. Hopefully, I will be able to obtain a scan soon.
