Owner's Description

Issue #70 does not add much to Green Lantern mythology, but instead involves a powerful robot from outer space who just wants to be a comedian. Unfortunately, he is not funny and is used by a bunch of crooks on Earth to commit crimes. Eventually, our hero stops the crooks, returns the robot to his home planet, and reprograms the robot so that he actually is funny.

Unlike #69, this Rocky Mountain WP copy remains the single highest of this issue as of 5/2020. I was previously happy with the 9.6 Pacific Coast copy until a friend offered me this ony 9.8 in 2019. Following the acquisition, I sold the Pacific Coast book in a CL auction. For all I got for it, I might as well have kept it. Books in this area of the run seem to go for very little. Still, the cover is kinda neat.
