Issue #220 features the Origin of Black Canary and marks the 20th anniversary of JLA/JSA cross-overs. 9.8s of this issue are very common, but this is the sole 9.9 in the census. It is the fourth 9.9 we have of this title, but we unfortunately paid far more for it than we did for the previous three together. Quite frankly, I should have let someone else overspend for it, but it did fill an empty slot as we inch towards completing this massive run of 267 books. We acquired the book from the 6/5/2022 Heritage Auction.
