Owner's Description

x2 signed by Ed Brubaker and Steve Epting. Big thanks goes out to Will Wong and Kris Moore for helping me to be able to get this one done.

Unlike the Directors Cut to #25, the script to this issue does not feature any additional commentary from Ed Brubaker (which is too bad because I was really looking forward to his comments!).

Aside from the script to the issue, other additional content includes:

Preliminary costume designs by Alex Ross: People have have complained initially about the costume that Bucky is wearing in the issue, but from the other preliminaries that are shown, the creative team definately picked the best one to go with.

Cover gallery: it features the 3 covers to the issue as well as sketched rough cover versions and some inked pages without color. If you didn't already love Steve Epting's art in this series, these black and white pages should do the trick.

The issue closes with a short section illustrated by Mike Perkins as the new Cap is interviewd by an ABC News anchor in front of the Captain America memorial who questions him briefly about the decisiion to carry a gun, but (as also mentioned earlier in the issue in a conversation between the Black Widow and Bucky), Bucky explains that he doesn't want to pretend to be the original and that during the war, Captain America carried plenty of guns, and that weapons do not make or unmake the man or the hero, and that they're simply tools. Personally I don't have a problem with anything in this series as I deeply trust the creative team with the story that they're trying to tell. I also really like the throwback to the older style logo that they used for the title.

Also pictured is my reading copy, signed by the creative team, Ed Brubaker, Steve Epting, Mike Perkins and Alex Ross for the bonus content featuring his work.
