Owner's Description

Ebay purchase - August 2018. Once again, missed out on a copy in the April 2017 CL auction as I was lowballing my bids and basically lost out on all the B&B's auctioned that day. At least a year later I did pick up this copy, tied with thirteen other for second highest graded on the census. Wait...second highest graded??? That's right, B&B#183 is only the second issue in the entire series to have a copy graded even higher at 9.9. I have not heard a peep from this 9.9 copy to this day.

Wait! That changed in the June 2021 CL auction...as the 9.9 was up for auction. I bid that book up to $2,200 (which is ridiculous, I know!). Someone decided to outbid me and go $2,300 - so I let them have it. They will NEVER make their money back on that book. I was stupid to even bid it that high - $1,000 is probably a fair, realistic price for that book. Oh well, it slipped through my fingers and I'm glad it did.

This issue teams up Batman with one of his most famous foes, the Riddler...although neither one is happy about it!

Also includes a Nemesis backup story.
