Welcome To Lovecraft Chapter One.<br />Written by Joe Hill. Illustrated by Gabriel Rodriguez.<br />Two teenagers invade the Locke family's summer home, killing the father in the process, causing them to relocate to his brother's gothic New England mansion known as Keyhouse, which in turn holds a few supernatural secrets of it's own. This comic was signed in marker on the front cover saying "Best, Joe Hill 2-4-08". This was a special incentive for orders exceeding twenty five on the #1 regular comics as opposed to a regular copy of the comic that was taken to a convention and signed. That is why there is a gold foil sticker with the words "Signed Edition" on the cover. This book was released on February 20, 2008 with an estimated print run of 302 copies.<br /><br />I thought it would be fun to add the first Locke & Key preview in the reverse gallery slot. This one is the Doctor Who Classics #2 variant which is actually the first time we were introduced to characters in the Locke & Key universe. It should be noted the first three preview books contained the spelling error "councilor" in them before being corrected a few weeks later in Angel: After The Fall #3. This book was released on January 1, 2008 with an estimated print run of 723 copies.<br />A special thanks goes out to Cheryllynn for this awesome gift.
