Welcome To Lovecraft Chapter Four.<br />Written by Joe Hill. Illustrated by Gabriel Rodriguez. <br />Sam's tragic origin and Tyler Locke's grim connection to him is explored further, as he makes his way closer to Lovecraft. This book was released on May 14, 2008 with an estimated print run of 8,544 copies.<br /><br />Here is a little Locke & Key oddity that came out a couple weeks after the original #4 first print in the reverse gallery shot. At first glance, everything looks the same, but upon further examination these are two differently constructed books. Often, it's thought to be a "Second Print" edition, but it is not as it shares the same barcode as the 1st print and reads "First Print" in the indicia. Characteristics of this comic that are diferent from the original 1st print are different staple placement, a top bent staple, a lighter background and thinner in construction.
