Owner's Description

As a long time reader of this series, one of the things that certainly comes to mind when discussing this issue is just how while we know the outcome given the title of the series, other comics put out by Marvel surrounding the release of this issue, severely rob it of any true impact it may have had with the return of Steve Rogers to Marvel, because other books have at this point in publication history have shown Steve Rogers already back and having met other chracters!

It was also known at this point that the original plan of having this be a 5-issue series was out the window, and that a sixth issue would follow. Not only that, but the future would see a delay in the release of #6, and in that gap, an epilogue issue comes out before the story even concludes!

In hindsight, I personally feel that the 6th issue was unnecessary because while the art is certainly a site to behold, many splash pages and spreads could have been toned down and decreased in size. Looking back at how everything was released, it certainly would have helped the books reception if everything had been released in order and on time, rather than stretching the story out, delaying it, and releasing the epilogue before the part #6.
