Owner´s notes:
The fifth issue of Hellboy is actually a Trade Paper Back, because it reprints the four-part werewolf story "The Wolves of Saint August" originally published in Dark Horse Presents (vol. 1) issue 88-91. Eight new pages was added, so the story grew from four parts of eight pages each (32 pages), to a total of 40 pages. Especially the end battle with the werewolf was made longer. This was also the first time the story was published in full color, since Dark Horse Present was a Black & White comic.

This issue contains the first appearance of Katherine "Kate" Corrigan.
