Owner's Description

The Crash Test Dummies have a wonderful song about Superman explaining how he spent his life protecting us and didn't take any money for it, that he could do whatever he wanted for personal gain but chose to live selflessly for mankind. This explains perfectly why he's my hero and why I try my best to live the same way....not because I have to...but rather because it's the right thing to do if you want to live in such a way to care about your neighbors as you want your neighbors to care about you. In the song about Superman, the Crash Test Dummies sang "Superman never made any money saving the world from Solomon Grundy and sometimes I despair the world will ever see another man like him". I feel the same way...but it's a goal we certainly can reach for if we try. I actually felt bad for Grundy in this story because all he wanted was a friend. For the safety of the earth Superman stranded Grundy on the moon....Superman must have been torn up about the choice he felt he had to make...being a hero is never easy sadly. If anyone reads this, watch the song video by the Crash Test Dummies....you'll be glad you did. https://youtu.be/EeyhKWjQaKk
