In 1987 when DC rebooted Wonder Woman I was in the Army stationed at Ft Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado. It was a great time in my life, I had gotten married in 1986, rediscovered my love of comics and had a great starting point with my favorite characters after "Crisis on Infinite Earths". Wonder Woman, Superman, Flash, and so many others along with my new wife just made my life complete. The 1st new Cheetah was just one of the many "firsts" that year...from the 1st time a little kid looked at me while I was wearing my Army uniform in a Wal-Mart to say "Excuse me Mr. Army Man" (made me feel like a hero) to me tucking in my new baby girl in her crib, to living in our 1st apartment together and feeding our little squirrel friend who would take the chocolate covered raisins from our outreached hands. It was a great time to be alive and a most excellent time to read Wonder Woman
