I can't even imagine the force of Superman literally throwing his entire body into an attack!
This cover reminds me of the flack that the Man of Steel movie caught due to the battle with Zod in Metropolis, and all of the casualties it must have caused. Surely a full on assault with Superman's entire body upon an opponent as tough as Doomsday caused some collateral damage as well!
I won this on eBay BIN for $100.00. Happy times indeed!
The book in the second picture slot is from 2011 and is probably about the most recent book I am willing to include in this gallery. Although there have been some more recent homages to this story on the covers of books, I need to draw the line somewhere... This is the very cool DC Comics Presents: Superman/Doomsday 1 100 Page Spectacular. This is the only 9.8 copy and one of only two graded at all! I picked this book up with the other books from the 'NO ONE CAN KILL SUPERMAN! collection. I think this cover is really cool and I'm happy to include it here! I think it goes well with this book!
