Set Description
This set is one I slowly worked on for a while. Just recently I've tried to finish it off. Hopefully, by the end of the year I can have this set complete by year's end.
This set consists of Justice League #16 Blank Variants with a sketch of each member of the original New 52 Justice League. Each character is drawn by an artist who has had a significant contribution to the character they are drawing.
Superman by George Perez (George has a long history with most DC characters. As for New 52, he was the writer and cover artist for the first several issues of Superman. So he was the perfect choice for this character.)
The Flash by Ethan Van Sciver (Ethan is most closely associated with Green Lantern. He was the artist for Flash: Rebirth. His style worked perfectly for Barry Allen's return to the DCU.)
Batman by Ed McGuiness (Ed had a hugely successful run on Superman/Batman. His take on Batman is so vastly different from anyone else. When a sketch opportunity presented itself, the only character I wanted from him was Batman.)
Green Lantern by Doug Mahnke (Doug had a long hugely successful run on the main Green Lantern title. His run with Geoff Johns continued adding to and enriching the Green Lantern myths. I waited a long time to get a sketch from him. He's one of the nicest gentleman as well)
