Life Among Them 4 of 6. 2/2010. The Safe-Zone is a walled-in and zombie free community. Aaron informs Rick that Douglas Monroe (their leader) will interview each of Rick's group. They see a bunch of children playing and ease reaches the Group as they have not felt safe and cheerful for a while. Douglas's group had their own fair share of "we are the walking dead" syndromes. They have showers and all seems content. Douglas is hitting on Andrea. Olivia knocks on Rick's door and tells him a man named Alexander Davidson started to build the fence and that the area is run by a solar power grid. rick is impressed but Olivia tells him it is not working as it used to. Rick goes out to find his son enjoying himsef and an older woman approaches Rick apologizing. She is Douglas's wife, Regina Monroe. Heath thinks Rick is another Davidson and Douglas shuts him up. "These are good people". Douglas tells Heath he never wants to hear Davidson's name again.
