1972 CGC 9.6 WP (census 28/372, second highest graded behind only two 9.8s), paid $765.00 on 02/26/2013 (thank you tax returns!), graded 02/22/2005 (same grade sold on Pedigree Comics 10/24/2015 for $950.00); 1st appearance of the Beast with fur; 1st appearance of Carl Maddicks; X-men appearance in flashback. This is the first time we've seen Beast since X-men #66…the last original X-men story before the reprints began. 1000 points.
