Welcome to my Everything Deluxe set

Introduction
From October 2020, Image Skybound reissued The Walking Dead (TWD) comics in full colour as The Walking Dead Deluxe (TWDD). Dave McCaig coloured Tony Moore's and Charlie Adlard's original TWD covers (cover B) and comic art.

I was so happy to have a letter I had written feature in Letter Hacks of TWDD #67. I now feel officially a small part of the TWD universe.

With two new issues published each month, it will likely be the end of 2028 when the final issue #193 is re-issued. By that time, there will be "a lot" of comics in the set. With #FoilFever infecting the re-issue, there were fifteen (15) covers for issue #1 alone...

New Covers
For this series, David Finch created a new cover (cover A) coloured by McCaig for each issue, also #1 Sketch, #7 Sketch, #1-12 Second Printing / Virgin Sketch / Gold foil (CVL) and Red Sketch foil (CVL), 52 Variant, and 53 Variant.

For the first time, Charlie Adlard created covers for issues #1-6, all of which are shown below. In the original TWD series, the first six covers were created by Tony Moore, with Charlie taking over from #7.

My Set
My set was the first CGC Registry set created for this new series. Every comic in my set has been graded 9.8, or higher, and/or into CGC's prestigious Signature Series.

2. On 23 July 2021, I was delighted to win the first CGC Registry Best Set award for this set (one of six CGC Awards presented to me that day for my TWD/TWDD sets). While I did not hold the #1 spot for the whole year, it feels fantastic to know that I was the first to hold the top spot in this brand new TWD-universe set.

3. I passed the 3,000 points threshold on 24 February 2024.
