Set Description:

Issues 1-155.

I thought long and hard if it was worth having my set graded. They are worn, used, and read by many hands. I knew, but still stayed optimistic, I had no 10’s. I knew, though, I also had no 0’s. Was it worth spending money on average comics, putting them in covers to where they could never be read again?

Yes.

This is my set.

Born on military installations overseas, and concluded in my adult years. Picked up in places like the Base Exchange, or the bookstore on my college campus. Read time and again over lazy summers, cold winters, from Asia to Europe and back to America, stretching from childhood to adulthood.

Stored in the attic for over 30 years, carefully boxed away for a later time. I never knew what that time would be, was, or if it has already passed me by. Yet, I had kept them; part of my past, part of childhood dreams of what was to come, and part of my memories of a life lived well growing up.

Not all things in life are done for economics; sometimes you do things because they feed your soul. Here are 155 comics sealed away because they mean that much to me.

P.S. Who knew Mark Jewelers inserts were such a big deal? I just thought it would have been nice to get my mother one of those rings.
