High grade set ...94/105 in 9.2-9.4 , 106/142 in 9.6!

This saga transformed ridiculous characters into superstars!
Especially Thanks to the work of Chris Claremont and John Byrne the X-Men became really Uncanny!!!
The characterization of Wolverine is incredible and the epic ending to the Phoenix saga made me cry...for second time after reading a comic!

P.S. The first time happened after reading Amazing Spider-Man 121-122

I find late bronze/early copper age Marvel comics particularly challenging to collect in High grade because books were not immediately bag&boarded after purchase and the low quality of the paper and cover meant spine stress and corner dings even in unread copies...
