I have looked at a lot of these over the past 40 years of my life and thought, "it would be neat to start collecting these old comics at some point".
Being that these had endless subject matter, from Disney to TV shows to movies to real life celebrities! these covered the whole gamut of entertainment throughout the history of this series from the 40's and on.
I have been very focused on acquiring the comics that influenced me personally over the course of my early years and now that the end is in sight for many of my sets, I have begun looking elsewhere for my collecting interests.
Now I find myself looking at these old comics again and I have decided that if the RP/AP ratios on any of these that pop up for auction are high enough, I will take a shot at them.
While I usually only want 9.8 graded copies, with exceptions down to 9.6 for Silver Age Harveys, I am willing to go down as far as 9.0 on these.
Many are nearly impossible to find in the higher grades or even in any sort of Near Mint condition.
