This issue wasn't supposed to happen but when production for the first issue of the Killraven story arc fell behind schedule, this re-telling of the Beast's origin was quickly put together to fill in the gap. What a stroke of fortune that turned out to be for Beast fans. I loved the poignant way this issue concluded the story of how the Beast got his fur. Thanks to Don Rosa for keeping this copy in such beautiful shape for 30+ years. I love Don's Uncle Scrooge books and so this copy has special significance to me besides being the highest-graded and only 9.8 currently on the census.
