Single Highest CGC Graded SS Copy ! STANS'S EARLIEST WORK AS A WRITER IN COMICS. A justifiable exception to the rule for this custom set, AW #1 (Summer 1941) is preceded only by Captain America #3 (May 1941) in which the young apprentice was given an opportunity to show his wares by writing a small story albeit all in text. This also happens to be the 1st issue & 1st appearance of the All-Winners Squad.
In case you are wondering where Stan's Signature is, it just so happens to be inside on the 1st page and is viewable by means of the QR Code located on the CGC label in the upper right hand corner. The site hosting the image appears to be down at the moment. upper right of page is down at the moment, however when up it will show Stan's Signature on interior front page.

Vintage Lee and the ONLY KNOWN COPY in the World signed by by BOTH Creators STEVE DITKO & Stan Lee !! Photos were taken of the two autographs prior to CGC's encapsulation. A Ditko signature is a rare thing indeed, as the artist was known for keeping to himself and was not the type to pal around with fans by any means, and what better item to be signed by him than his most famous work of all? It is estimated that between 100 - 250 comics were ever signed by Steve Ditko, with this being the only Known Ditko signed AF #15 in existence. Rumors exist of Steve Ditko turning down as much at $10,000 to sign a single copy of AF 15 as he remained the elusive white whale of autographs throughout his entire career and up until his passing. So much so, that we jumped at the opportunity and paid a $30,000 premium over the current market value of this issue at the time of purchase just to land this issue. Crazy as it sounds, we were prepared to pay $50,000 over market at the time. Just the fact of owning anything AF 15 related than could be considered a legitimate one of a kind is in itself an extremely rare opportunity and pride of my collection. . .

Naturally we had to include a copy ot the standard version of AF #15 with a perfectly placed clean signature on the cover.
This completes our trio of AF 15's signed by the man.
(In order of significance)
1) Ditko/Lee vintage signed interior takes our #1 slot ---- by a mile.
2) Rare UK & Highest Graded UK SS ranks #2 just based on scarcity alone. (Only 4 UK CGC SS exist)
3) A recent aquasition - I felt it was vital to include a Stan signed AF 15 Cents copy to complete this unique trio of Signed AF 15's.

Highest Graded 1 of 5. Near and dear to my heart, and it's a 1966 book, so it fit's this sets criteria This 1966 Stunner is the 1st full fledged reprint of ASM , cover and all !! It's Stan's sig. on what he has admitted to being his favorite character. At least at the time he said it. For me, I grew up an avid fan of the webhead, and proud to say, if was MY favorite title and the first book I read regardless of what else came out that month.

Highest CGC graded SS. This would have made a great 1st appearance Splash in true marvel fashion, however it is not Medusa;s 1st appearance and so we will need to settle for a partial Origin. It also happens to be Medusa's 1st splash cover. I am partial to the character in that I own the original art to her 1st appearance in FF #45, and the fact it happens to be one of my favorite titles, gives me a personal excuse to slip it in.
