A 'Boofhead' in the Australian vernacular is a person who is a bit of an idiot or acts in stupid way or is "a sandwich short of a picnic" or "has a roo loose in the top paddock" or a "pea short of a pod".

No. 1 6d (6 pence in pre-decimal currency). The 6d version ( I have both 6d and 9d issues of No. 1) was printed in Australia but exported to the UK. The 9d version was sold in Australia.
