I think, it´s fair to say, that SQUARRIORS was the surprice hit of 2014.
I saw SQUARRIORS for the first time in PREVIEWS ( October 2014 issue ). They showed a couple of sample pages, and I was thinking: "WOW! If the comic look like that all the way through, that´s a must have."
So I picked up the first issue and was blown away by the stunning artwork and the multi-layerd story. My frustration was huge, when I discovered, that I had missed the Kickstarter campaign by only a month or so, but I managed to buy the Kickstarter variant on e-bay later anyway.

A huge thanks to Ash Maczko (story) and Ashley Witter (art) for creating such a awesome comic. SQUARRIORS is the proof ( once again ), that Indie comics today can be just as good, as comics from the big publishers, and many times even better, because the creative people have the final say.
