possibly my favourite Joelle cover. This become a modern grail for me for about a year. I searched high and low for a good copy of this. I think that was part of way I was disappointed at first, as I was so sure this would get a 9.6. When I opened it to see 9.4, I was a little crest fallen at first. I should not of been - I should of been over the moon to achieve my goal of tracking down a good copy, having it signed and slabbed. I've now gotten over it and come to my senses. I'm delighted with it and it has pride of place in my collection.

This was maybe the first time I had seen joelle's artwork, after finding out who this artist was I then went on to discover ladykiller and her other works so I was late to the party as ladykiller had already been out for some time but was great to discover this new (to me) amazing writer/artist. I love the pose and contrast of colour in this cover.

A long time favourite character I've followed since I started picking up x-men comics as a 10 yr old. For me, this shows the powerful, resilient nature of the character - great cover. Rogue's been through a lot over the years but is still standing. Was glad to see it was included in the women of power colouring book I bought for my nieces so they could see this and get to colour it in.

I found this cover by accident as wasn't looking for it and didn't know it existed but it came up on my ebay from a seller I had bought from before (along with a copy of Mother Panic I also had signed/slabbed) and I thought it was amazing from the first time I saw it. This really showcases the stunning art and design of Joelle's work while at the same time giving you a feel for the book/character through the image and is a little reminiscent of some of her LadyKiller 40's/50's inspired artwork. I did pick up shade, the changing girl after buying this and it is a great read I never would have discovered otherwise.
I can't decide between this and Black Widow 3 which is my favourite Joelle cover so far. I wasn't going to slab this one. I was surprised when it came and I saw it may grade at 9.0 or above (only paid 99p on ebay so was expecting a 6.5 reading copy) and all 3 artist were at Thought Bubble, I thought I'd add it to the issues to get signed. Very glad I did and was over the moon when it came back 9.4 - its now in my top 3 prized issues.
