My comic book collection, started in 1977, contains over 7181 comics. 580 have come up missing due to the negligence of a moving company based out of Madison, WI. The comics missing include CGC graded items which will be listed here. Anyone coming across these, please contact me!
Around August 22nd I reported to many of you some details of a lost comic book collection, and as it turns out the comics were stolen in Madison, WI. The comics were confirmed missing as of August 18th, and were likely stolen between July 20th and August 4th, 2019.
582 Comics missing vs what I have cataloged, total 6 boxes. Video surveillance captured two individuals breaking into the moving company's warehouse at 3214 Syene Rd Ste 1, Madison, WI 53713. One of the individuals was positively identified and was an employee of the moving company, Tipler Transfer.
Madison Police, with confirmation from Madison detectives and the district attorney, have written charges and have issued a warrant for the suspect's arrest as of last week, however the suspect is still at large. The name and description of the suspect is unknown to me at this time. Due to the dollar amount, this is a felony level theft.
The missing parts of the collection have an estimated book value of $14,302 based on what I have cataloged, cross checked with high dollar books updated with current values at gocollect.com and the Overstreet 2019-2020 Comic Book Price Guide. The suspect, based out of Madison, has ties to Chicago; there is reason to believe he will try to get cash for them there. I am resending this information to some of you, to others this is fresh information. Please share and let me know if you come across them!

Recovery of lost comics, I continue to purchase high grade books of interest to me. I enjoy the historical value, the art, the stories, and a sense of nostalgia.
