"The Aliens Who Ran My Town!" Dick & Shelly are at it again - and this time they put together a solid, if unremarkable cover image. Although...the mayor having both a monocle AND a bow tie seems a bit of a giveaway, right? I'm not entirely sold on the aliens, they actually might be the weakest part of this cover - although the alien with the big ol white mustache is something else. I'm like - damn dude you gotta schnoz, but that broom underneath it really stands out. I'm not sure why that alien is very humanistic and the other clearly not. Then again, their species could exhibit sexual dimorphism, so the one without the nose-broom could be a different gender. And that might explain the fishnet stockings they appear to be wearing, right?
Overall - I don't know. Like there are aliens, which is cool; and the cover is well rendered - but I'm just not into anything that is happening on the cover - I guess this is a solid maybe which depends entirely on what else is available from the spinner rack this month.
