Owner's Description
Angel on the rampage! Using Cyclops as a tool? No better fitting name for the "one-eyed 'leader' of the X-Men." Cyclops served a purpose, but his leadership sometimes to make the hard decision led me to believe that it's just too hard to like the red eyed baron, good thing for ole Xavier while it lasted! Keeping with the Near Mint theme for this part of the run, and having a long way to go, it is sure nice to be rewarded with classic covers like this that present well. Claremont continuing to churn these out, and apparently the "Firelord' had a bigger presence in this story than I knew about. The X-men are faced with dire circumstances as Angel kind of has a lapse in judgement. There are 35 cent price variants of a few of these issues in this part of the run. I'm glad to have the regular issue before any spike. I like 35 centers more sometimes, but they are often too costly for me, I still have a few though!
Complete with a back cover picture with a statue of, "The Storm!" When she's on display using the abilities God given by a creator, it puts the wind at your back and guarantees a light show! Mightier than an optic blast?
Grader Notes:
light spine stress lines to cover;
very light foxing to cover.
