Owner's Description
"Arkon" appearance, done by Frank Miller? On the cover at least! Sacrifices have been made, that I hope leads to some obedient following, I'm completing a run. Sort of, because in the end the comics had a lot more to do with the Phoenix than the animated series. Becoming acquainted with all the ends and outs is fun though. It is fun getting back to the old and celebrating the new. This collection is going a long way to bringing closure to missing those episodes, if any, of the late 80's and early 90's. The X-men are long standing and take it to heart that a good story and art, in print, will always be sought after. Even if "Arkon" himself were to try and come between, the X-men are on point against the villain! Love these early annuals that fleshed out characters, yet it took some time to warrant any title getting an "annual" because once a year publishing took the title surviving.
Complete with a back cover picture, now that I have the full run of the Animated Series on DVD to compare to childhood memories. Haha. 5th DVD installment was not in the pic, is instead the "back cover picture" of a different annual! Got to catch them all!
