Fantastic Four & Ahab appearance. Gambit first appearance in cameo (predates Uncanny X-Men #266). Pinups by Kevin Nowlan & Michael Golden. He only appears in the background mostly but plays a role. Gambit was an early favorite of mine from the X-men Cartoon. They had a good voice actor that I would visualize or translate to comics. If they can make a decent movie, I'll be even Happier! It's a readable story and a fun background drop, to what Storm and Gambit are trying to figure out in their mission. Jim Lee and Andy Kubert with Chris Claremont credited as "creators" let their iteration stand on its own. Gambit has become a desired character to collect for many, me included, in video games, statues and of course COMICS, COMICS, COMICS!! He's got the heart that is tested in "love" many a time, though he tries to be suave and behave as though it doesn't trouble him!
Complete with a back cover picture of the old under copy slab, that needed upgrading to this 9.6! The difference is awesomely amazing, those early days back into collecting are still mementos!
