Campbell Variant B, signed by Scott Campbell on 10/6/17. I got this free with eBay bucks, so it was nice to have my first CGC Signature Series J. Scott Campbell! I had sent something else in to be signed but wasn't back yet and I couldn't wait! I needed the penmanship. Campbell definitely has a nice signature. I seem to like when it is an ink or black and white cover or less color. Making the red hair the color focus was a nice touch too! It makes it look like a paid for sketch or commission lol, and the red of Sonja's hair makes it stand out! Ink for the sig looks nice as well. Red Sonja is an awesome character that takes care of business, all while keeping a look of femininity! I believe that Scott Campbell does the Red Sonja justice on this cover to make it a powerful image! Branding a blade in hand has always been a throwback to the Barbarian age, but reality was probably using horses as well.

AS2 Campbell is known to do a spotlight for Dynamite, moonlighting when you are a decent artist, it must mean the character is worth the extra business. How much more a "Bat" as a Red Sonja! More the merrier.

Complete with a back cover picture of Campbell cover "B", issue #2, for cheap at $6. Makes a great read for the art and quick late-night read. She's wielding the art of combat!
