Story:

Peter Parker is enjoying a boat cruise along the Hudson River with his fellow graduate students, when suddenly a flaming message appears in the sky summoning the Spectacular Spider-Man to the Statue of Liberty. The web-slinger thinks the message is from the Human Torch, but that assumption might just prove to be deadly! When the wall-crawler reaches Lady Liberty's torch, he doesn't find Johnny Storm; however, he does find the Frightful Four! The odds do not look good for your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man! In March of 1980, a series of small quakes began to rumble in the Pacific Northwest. Finally, in May the great Mt St Helens erupted.
