Owner's Description

Blue Label CGC 9.6 (Place Holder)
Special Notes: I located this example while surfing the web, and I thought it would make a solid high grade candidate and I was right! It earned a respectable CGC 9.6 Grade. I will continue to hunt for a better book.
Additional Notes: This example is the "Solid cover". It is like any other comic, but there is also a "Die-Cut" cover, and on that cover, the "Red Spider" lays over the interior cover, and the holes between the legs allow you to see what is under it. There is Direct, and Newsstand versions of both covers.
Located: Vancouver, Washington
Grader Notes: very light spine stress lines to cover

The set notes this book as a "Newsstand" However, as noted above "Newsstand Edition" when it clearly says "Direct Edition" on the UPC Code.

What is significantly different about this issue?

It does NOT have Di-Cut cover. The Cover is solid, making it different than the other version, in-addition it has a cover price of $2.50. This book I think will end up being one of the more difficult covers. There is Die-Cut covers and NON-Die-cut examples, in both Direct and Newsstand. I could search for the Die-Cut Newsstand, which I feel would be the easy path. However, I think Non-Die-Cut, with the solid paper cover in "Newsstand" would be more respectable. So that is what I will try to do. I feel it would be more acurate if this book was represented in Die-Cut and Solid Cover for the set. Since CGC does not recognize "Newsstand" to begin with. The set should say "Die-Cut" and "Solid Cover". Just my two cents.
