Synopsis:
It's a standoff of mythological proportions when Wonder Woman combats the resurrected God of War, Ares! While trying to stop a war, Wonder Woman appeals to Ares to intervene with her, but he thinks the two parties should fight it out and resolve it themselves. My breakdown of issue 60
Wonder Woman and Ares are battling it out when they hear the crying of a baby and Ares finds a child in the ruins of a building that he caused the destruction for. Ares feels that perhaps the best thing for him to do is nothing and leaves the battle field leaving Wonder Woman to pick up the pieces and fight off the remaining attackers. Steve still prisoner of Greek mythological creatures his taken for a long walk along the country side only to find himself at the end of their journey being met by the Greek God Aphrodite.
