My breakdown of issue 56
The Witching Hour story arc part two starts off this issue with Wonder Woman assisting in the capture of a unicorn to be used as a gift to Circe in exchange for information. Seems that the Greek God Hecate is responsible for dividing five pieces of magic into females, these powers moved throughout time and woman until she was ready to call upon its use again called The Witching Hour. These powers if combined would infect the world with darkness. As the powers are emerging from Wonder Woman and another woman that is creating chaos, Circ uses her magic to help mask and give Wonder Woman control over the power she possesses before the Witching Hour comes to being.
