1st full: Jesse Custer, Tulip, Cassidy & Saint of Killers. I overpaid for this issue at Titan Comics, at something crazy like $95, but it was already graded, and I've got enough deals at the store before. Support your Local Comic Shop! This series was given screen time, and it wasn't everyone's favorite. It still is loved as a "read" by many, and I hear trade paperbacks being bought all the time. Still a 1st print, even in very fine condition, can be loved by me. The price was a little staggering, so I guess the LCS thought it was at the top of market. If I was in the LCS at the time of release, I probably wouldn't have bought it. Knowing from others who gave it a shot that it is somewhat a different setting, I finally decided to pick up $1 reads. I didn't read issue #1 of the regular series. It was still a word-of-mouth kind of thing, and I'm glad I picked up the slab. The later issues art doesn't impress me too much though.
Complete with a back cover picture of the issue I've read, turns out to be the AMC adaptation! Some of the later covers in the regular run, are strikingly different, but that is just to say, that it has its own style. RESPECT!
